Virginia Tech gets a bye week and I take a Saturday off to do other activities, and I find that football has fallen into madness.
Remember that any talk of records and being undefeated strictly refers to conference records.

It is mathematically impossible to force a multi-team tie at 4-4. For that to happen, Georgia would need to lose out, giving a fourth win to both Florida and Missouri. Then both of those teams would need to lose out, but the problem is that they play each other in November, so therefore, the division champion will have at least five wins.

Do Indiana and Michigan State have any chance of forcing a 5-4 tie at the top? The short answer is "not with each other", as they will face off in November. If Michigan loses out to go 5-4, then that means OSU will get a fifth win. We are looking at a minimum of a three way tie involving Michigan, OSU, and the Indiana/MSU winner. Indiana has already lost to the rest of the division except Penn State, so they just don't have any tiebreakers to use. Michigan State has lost enough that I'm confident in saying they're out of the race.
