2020 Week 8 wrap up

I think Michigan State is officially the worst team in the country.  They lost a conference game to Rutgers.  Welcome back, Big Ten.

To better compare the ACC teams, I will be adding a maximum win percentage to each team.  It is basically what their win percentage will be if they win out.  Since some teams have played more conference games than others, it will keep teams in proper ranked order.

ACC
Clemson (5-0) - Max 100%
W:  Wake Forest, uva, Miami, GT, Syracuse
    L:  none
Notre Dame (4-0) - Max 100%
    W:  Duke, FSU, Louisville, Pitt
    L:  none
UNC (4-1) - Max 90%
W:  Syracuse, BC, VT, NC State
    L:  FSU
Miami (4-1) - Max  90%
    W:  Louisville, FSU, Pitt, uva
    L:  Clemson
Wake Forest (2-2) - Max 80%
    W:  uva, VT
    L:  Clemson, NC State
Virginia Tech (3-2) - Max 80%
    W:  NC State, Duke, BC
    L:  UNC, Wake Forest
NC State (4-2) - Max 80%
W:  Wake Forest, Pitt, uva, Duke
    L:  Virginia Tech, UNC
Boston College (3-2) - Max 80%
    W:  Duke, Pitt, GT
    L:  UNC, VT
Georgia Tech (2-3) - Max 70%
    W:  FSU, Louisville
    L:  Syracuse, Clemson, BC
Pitt (2-4) - Max 60%
    W:  Syracuse, Louisville
L:  NC State, BC, Miami, ND
Virginia (1-4) - Max 60%
    W:  Duke
L:  Clemson, NC State, WF, Miami
Syracuse (1-4) - Max 60%
    W:  Georgia Tech
    L:  UNC, Pitt, Duke, Clemson
Louisville (1-4) - Max 60%
    W:  FSU
    L:  Miami, Pitt, GT, ND
Florida State (1-4) - Max 60%
    W:  UNC
L:  Georgia Tech, Miami, Notre Dame, Louisville
Duke (1-5) - Max 50%
    W:  Syracuse
L:  Notre Dame, Boston College, uva, VT, NC State

Any of the teams with 4 losses will be eliminated from contention of the #1 seed with a loss AND a Clemson win.  Duke will be eliminated next week if Clemson wins.

If Clemson and Notre Dame both win, Duke will be completely eliminated from the ACCCG, and Louisville will be eliminated with a loss.  Both teams are on the wrong end of a head-to-head tiebreaker with Notre Dame.

SEC
Since the SEC is keeping their divisions, and only expanded their cross-divisional schedule, I'm keeping the "controls destiny" format, but tweaking it.  I'm only listing division teams in the win or loss column, as those are the ones affecting the tiebreakers.  The SEC is playing 10 conference games this year, so it will take longer for some teams to clinch or get eliminated.
