And just like that, the season is 2/3rds over.

Chaos Theory Week 9

No undefeated team lost in week 8, so we're still sitting at 8.  With Alabama on a bye this week, we're keeping at least one.

Chaos Theory week 8

Well, week 7 certainly helped things here.  We went from 9 undefeated Power 5 teams down to 6 (Bye to Clemson, Washington, and Washington State).  Let's go ahead and add in the Group of 5 teams (which is only two from the American).

Week 7 wrap up

And all of the Hokies say thank goodness for the bye week.  I mean, I take the day off to go to a concert and come back to find all sorts of upside down scores.

Chaos Theory: Week 7

I'm a little late getting around to Chaos Theory, and Clemson falls in the Carrier Dome.  Oops.

Last week, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Utah fell from the ranks of the unbeaten, and dropped us down to 9.

Going into Saturday, we're down to 8.

Who are we rooting for to provide chaos?

Updated 2017 predictions

With the first month of the season in the books, it's time to update the preseason predictions.  While the conference races are wide open, we have at least seen how these teams are performing.  And, we can also account for early season changes.

Chaos Theory: Week 6

I couldn't bring myself to do Chaos Theory while VT was still undefeated.   At the end of five weeks, there are only 12 undefeated Power 5 teams.  Who are we rooting for to provide chaos?

2017 Season: Post-September Thoughts
