2020 Week 9 wrap up

I believe the Big Ten might be the conference to provide a circle of suck this year.

It's the last week without the full P5 playing.

To better compare the ACC teams, I will be adding a maximum win percentage to each team.  It is basically what their win percentage will be if they win out.  Since some teams have played more conference games than others, it will keep teams in proper ranked order.

ACC
Clemson (6-0) - Max 100%
W:  Wake Forest, uva, Miami, GT, Syracuse, BC
    L:  none
Notre Dame (5-0) - Max 100%
W:  Duke, FSU, Louisville, Pitt, GT
    L:  none
Miami (4-1) - Max  90%
    W:  Louisville, FSU, Pitt, uva
    L:  Clemson
UNC (4-2) - Max 80%
W:  Syracuse, BC, VT, NC State
    L:  FSU, uva
Virginia Tech (4-2) - Max 80%
W:  NC State, Duke, BC, Louisville
    L:  UNC, Wake Forest
NC State (4-2) - Max 80%
W:  Wake Forest, Pitt, uva, Duke
    L:  Virginia Tech, UNC
Wake Forest (3-2) - Max 80%
    W:  uva, VT, Syracuse
    L:  Clemson, NC State
Boston College (3-3) - Max 70%
    W:  Duke, Pitt, GT
    L:  UNC, VT, Clemson
Pitt (2-4) - Max 60%
    W:  Syracuse, Louisville
L:  NC State, BC, Miami, ND
Florida State (1-4) - Max 60%
    W:  UNC
L:  Georgia Tech, Miami, Notre Dame, Louisville

Only in contention for the #2 seed:
Georgia Tech (2-4) - Max 60%
    W:  FSU, Louisville
    L:  Syracuse, Clemson, BC, GT
Virginia (2-4) - Max 60%
    W:  Duke, UNC
L:  Clemson, NC State, WF, Miami
Syracuse (1-5) - Max 50%
    W:  Georgia Tech
L:  UNC, Pitt, Duke, Clemson, Wake Forest

Even if Clemson, uva, and GT all end at 6-4, Clemson has the head-to-head over both.  Either team will be fully eliminated with loss AND Notre Dame win.
Meanwhile, Syracuse cannot overcome Clemson's 6 current wins.  They will be fully eliminated with a loss OR Notre Dame win.

Out of contention:
Louisville (1-5) - Max 50%
    W:  FSU
L:  Miami, Pitt, GT, ND, VT
Duke (1-5) - Max 50%
    W:  Syracuse
L:  ND, BC, uva, VT, NC State

Even if Notre Dame loses out and ends at 5-5, they would have tiebreakers over Louisville and Duke and thus stay above those teams in the standings.

Big 12
Kansas State (4-1)
W:  Oklahoma, Texas Tech, TCU, Kansas
    L:  WVU
Oklahoma State (3-1)
    W:  WVU, Kansas, Iowa State
    L:  Texas
Iowa State (4-1)
W:  TCU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Kansas
    L:  Oklahoma State
WVU (3-2)
    W:  Baylor, Kansas, K-State
    L:  Oklahoma State, Texas Tech
Oklahoma (3-2)
    W:  Texas, TCU, Texas Tech
    L:  Kansas State, Iowa State
Texas (3-2)
W:  Texas Tech, Baylor, OK State
    L:  TCU, Oklahoma
Baylor (1-3)
    W:  Kansas
    L:  WVU, Texas, TCU
Texas Tech (1-4)
    W:  WVU
L:  Texas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma
TCU (2-3)
    W:  Texas, Baylor
L:  Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma

Out of contention of #1 seed:
Kansas (0-5)
    W:  none
L:  Baylor, Oklahoma State, WVU, Kansas State, Iowa State

The winner of K-State/Iowa State will have 5 wins.

SEC
Since the SEC is keeping their divisions, and only expanded their cross-divisional schedule, I'm keeping the "controls destiny" format, but tweaking it.  I'm only listing division teams in the win or loss column, as those are the ones affecting the tiebreakers.  The SEC is playing 10 conference games this year, so it will take longer for some teams to clinch or get eliminated.

Mississippi State (1-4)
    W:  LSU
    L:  Arkansas, Texas A&M, Alabama
Ole Miss (2-4)
    W:  none
    L:  Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn

Both teams lose on the tiebreaker with Alabama.

Big Ten
The B1G is playing an 8 game schedule.  The following week, everyone will play their counterpart from the opposite division in the same place in the standings.  (So, 1 vs. 1, 7 vs. 7, etc.)  They also screwed the standings up by outright cancelling the Wisconsin/Nebraska game without rescheduling.
