Week 13 update

EAT IT PITT.

ACC Coastal gets a divisional championship game on Black Friday.

And the other conferences are doing things too.  Two championship games have been completely set, while the other conferences have one division winner decided.  There are two winner-take-all games, with one other elimination game.

There are 8 or 9 teams fighting for bowl eligibility (the 9th is Missouri who is in the middle of an NCAA appeal).

ACC
Atlantic Champion:  Clemson Tigers (8-0)
Clemson clinched with the best record in the division.


Out of contention:
-Wake Forest (3-3) was eliminated when Clemson beat NC State.
-Louisville (5-3) was eliminated by losing to Miami.
-BC (3-4) was eliminated by losing to Clemson.
-FSU (4-4) was eliminated when Clemson beat BC.
-NC State (1-6) was eliminated by losing to Wake Forest.
-Syracuse (1-6) was eliminated by losing to FSU.

Coastal
The winner of 
VT (5-2) at UVA (5-2) will win the division with the best record.

Out of contention:
-Pitt (4-3) was eliminated when they weren't allowed to score a point against VT.
-Miami (4-3) was eliminated when VT beat GT.
-UNC (3-4) does not have enough tiebreakers. 
-Duke (2-4) does not have enough tiebreakers.
-GT (2-6) was eliminated by losing to UVA.

Bowl eligible:  Clemson, WF, UVA, Pitt, Miami, Louisville, FSU, VT, Notre Dame
5-6:  BC, UNC
No bowl:  Syracuse, GT, NC State, Duke

SEC Championship:  Georgia Bulldogs (7-1) vs. LSU Tigers (7-0)
Georgia clinched the division with the best record in the East.  LSU will either have the best record in the West, or the head-to-head tiebreaker over Alabama.


Out of contention:
-Florida (6-2) was eliminated when Georgia beat Auburn.
-Missouri (2-5) was eliminated by losing to Georgia.
-Tennessee (4-3) was eliminated when Georgia beat Missouri.
-South Carolina (3-5) was eliminated when Georgia beat Missouri.
-Kentucky (3-5) was eliminated by Florida beating Vanderbilt.
-Vanderbilt (1-6) was eliminated by losing to Florida.
-Alabama (6-1) was eliminated when LSU beat Arkansas.
-Texas A&M (4-3) was eliminated when LSU and Alabama both got to 6 wins.
-Auburn (4-3) was eliminated by losing to Georgia.
-Ole Miss (2-5) was eliminated by losing to Auburn.
-Mississippi State (2-5) was eliminated by losing to Texas A&M.
-Arkansas (0-7) was eliminated by losing to Alabama.

Bowl eligible:  Florida, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Kentucky
5-6:  Missouri (pending appeal), Mississippi State

Big Ten
East Champion:  Ohio State Buckeyes (8-0)
Ohio State clinched with the best record in the division.

Out of contention:
-Penn State (6-2) was eliminated by losing to Ohio State.
-Michigan (6-2) was eliminated when Ohio State and Penn State both won in week 12.
-Indiana (4-4) was eliminated by losing to Penn State.
-Michigan State (3-5) was eliminated by losing to Illinois.
-Maryland (1-7) was eliminated by losing to Minnesota.
-Rutgers (0-8) was eliminated when OSU beat Wisconsin.

West
The winner of Wisconsin (6-2) at Minnesota (7-1) will clinch the division.

Minnesota would have the outright best record, while Wisconsin would clinch with the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Out of contention:

-Illinois (5-3) was eliminated when Minnesota beat Northwestern.
-Iowa (5-3) was eliminated by tiebreakers.
-Purdue (3-4) was eliminated by Minnesota beating Penn State.
-Nebraska (3-5) was eliminated by Minnesota beating Penn State.
-Northwestern (0-8) was eliminated by losing to Iowa.

Bowl eligible:  Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois
5-6:  Nebraska, Michigan State
No bowl:  Rutgers, Northwestern, Maryland, Purdue

Pac-12
North Champion:  Oregon Ducks (7-1)
Oregon wins with the best record in the division.

Out of contention:
-Oregon State (4-3) was eliminated when Oregon beat Arizona.
-Stanford (3-6) was eliminated when they lost to Colorado.
-Washington (3-4) was eliminated when Oregon beat USC.
-Cal (3-5) was eliminated when Oregon beat USC.
-Washington State (2-5) was eliminated when Oregon beat USC.

South
This division will be decided by Utah's (7-1) final game.  If they win, they clinch the division with the best record.  If they lose, then USC (7-2) will clinch the division due to their head-to-head tiebreaker over Utah.

Out of contention:
-UCLA (4-4) was eliminated by losing to Utah.
-Arizona State (3-5) was eliminated by losing to USC.
-Arizona (2-6) was eliminated by USC beating Arizona State.
-Colorado (2-5) was eliminated by losing to UCLA.

Bowl eligible: Oregon, Utah, Washington, USC, Cal, Washington State, Arizona State
5-6:  Colorado, Oregon State
No bowl:  Stanford, UCLA, Arizona

Big 12 Championship:  Oklahoma (7-1) vs. Baylor (7-1)
These are the teams with the two best records in the conference.  Oklahoma won the first meeting.

Out of contention:
-Oklahoma State (5-3) was eliminated when Oklahoma beat TCU.
-Texas (4-4) was eliminated by losing to Baylor.
-Iowa State (5-3) was eliminated by losing to both Baylor and Oklahoma.
-Kansas State (4-4) was eliminated by losing to West Virginia.
-TCU (3-6) was eliminated when Oklahoma beat Baylor.
-Texas Tech (2-6) was eliminated by losing to TCU.
-WVU (2-6) was eliminated by losing to Texas Tech.
-Kansas (1-7) was eliminated when Oklahoma beat Iowa State.

5-6:  TCU
No bowl:  Texas Tech, WVU, Kansas
