Week 4 recap

We still have yet another week in September, but we're already seeing some separation in conference races.

Discussion of wins and losses in regards to controling destiny is based solely on head to head matchups and two way ties.  There are probably many other possibilities for certain teams to win their division or conference, but requires multiple ties in place.  It is far too early in the season to worry about that.

ACC
Atlantic: Florida State has control after two convincing wins against Wake Forest and Clemson.
Maryland and NC State have not entered conference play, so they still have control.
Boston College has a loss from the other division, so they still have control, but still very shaky.
Wake Forest and Clemson need FSU to lose two games to gain control.

Coastal: Duke has not played in conference, so they still control.
Virginia Tech and Miami still control their own destiny and both have tiebreakers over Georgia Tech.
UVA has shaky control of their destiny, requiring VT and Miami to both lose a game, two teams still ahead on the schedule.
Georgia Tech has completely lost control of their destiny.  With two divisional losses, they need VT and Miami to lose three games, and UVA to lose two.  However, they have still not been officially eliminated.
UNC is inelligible.

SEC
East: Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina still control.
Kentucky and Tennessee both have 1 divisional loss.
Missouri and Vanderbilt each have 2 divisional losses.

West: Alabama, Mississippi State, LSU, and Ole Miss still control.
Texas A&M has a conference loss from the East, so they still have shaky control.
Arkansas has a divisional loss.

Big Ten
Still, no conference games yet.

Pac-12
All of the conference games so far have been cross-divisional, so everybody still controls.

Big 12
Kansas lost to TCU, and Oklahoma fell to K-State.  Other than that, no other conference games so everyone else controls.

Big East
Cincy and Rutgers have wins over Pitt and USF, respectively.
