Week 6 wrap up

Finally, the season is starting to take shape as some teams are bowl eligible, and others learn if they still have a chance for anything.

Ohio State became the first team to attain bowl eligibility for 2015, but several other teams soon joined them.

And say what you want about the SEC's questionable scheduling tactics, but the East division has the most well defined conference race in all of college football after week 6.  They already have a team facing elimination next week.

Now, we have three categories (if applicable) to each division.  "Controls destiny" refers to the teams that can win their division without the help of other teams losing.  "Needs help" are the teams that still have a chance of getting back into the race.  The scenarios listed there are just what that teams needs to control their own destiny again.  All scenarios are dependent on the listed team winning out.  "Just start winning" is the category for teams that have played multiple conference games, and failed to win any of them.  In future weeks, some of the 1-win teams might fall into that category as they add up additional losses.

As usual, I'm only referring to conference records in this post.  If the number of games does not match the list of teams, then the extra number is a cross divisional game.
