2023 Week 6 wrap up

We are now far enough into the season where those fortunate teams who have not lost nor had a bye are now bowl eligible.

Remember that any talk of records and being undefeated strictly refers to conference records.

ACC Wheel of Destiny
Louisville (3-0)
W:  Georgia Tech, BC, NC State
Florida State (3-0)
   W:  BC, Clemson, VT
UNC (2-0)
   W:  Pitt, Syracuse
Duke (1-0)
   W:  Clemson
Georgia Tech (2-1)
   W:  Wake Forest, Miami
   L:  Louisville
Clemson (2-2)
   W:  Syracuse, WF
   L:  Duke, FSU
VT (1-1)
   W:  Pitt
   L:  FSU

NC State (1-1)
   W:  uva
   L:  Louisville

Boston College (1-2)
   W:  uva
   L:  FSU, Louisville
Miami (0-1)
   L: GT
Wake Forest (0-2)
   L: GT, Clemson
Syracuse (0-2)
   L:  Clemson, UNC
Pitt (0-2)
   L:  UNC, VT
uva (0-2)
   L:  NC State, BC

Looking at the four undefeated teams in conference play, the only remaining match-ups of those teams all involve Duke, who ends up playing all three of the other undefeated teams.  This means that if Duke ends the season undefeated, they will be the only team to do so in the ACC.  Still plenty of time for ACC chaos within the new format.
