Conference Realignment Scorecard - updated

The Mega Conference Realignment of 2010-2015 has taken a few more turns since we last posted the scorecard. With the season beginning this week, here's the updated scorecard.

The Mega Conference Realignment of 2010-2015 was largely caused by the Big East, although the transformation of the Pac-10 to the Pac-12 was the move that sparked it all.  This is only dealing with football conference affiliations.  This is not to be confused with the Great Conference Realignment of 2004-2005 caused by the ACC and Big East.

The biggest changes since the original version of this scorecard include C-USA's expansion to compensate for being raided by the Big East.  This is resulting in several FCS teams getting promoted.  This also cancelled any plans that were starting to form regarding a merger with Mountain West.

Anything from 2013 on should still be considered tentative and subject to change at a moment's notice.  I think we are safe on 2012.
