2021 Week 13 - What to watch?

Here is a list of all of the Power 5 games where there is something on the line (other than just rivalry trophies) -- be it conference championship berths or bowl eligibility.  Saturday matchups have been updated due to Friday results.

While the Egg Bowl is played on Thanksgiving night, both Mississippi teams are already bowl eligible and out of contention for the SEC West.

Friday, November 26
1:30 PM
Iowa at Nebraska, BTN.  With a win, Iowa still has a chance to win the Big Ten West, depending on the outcome of Minnesota/Wisconsin.  With a loss, they are done, but help Minnesota's chances of clinching.

4:30 PM
TCU at Iowa State, FS1.  TCU needs a win for bowl eligibility.  Iowa State is already eligible.

7 PM
UNC at NC State, ESPN.  A win by NC State would keep their chances alive for the ACC Atlantic, and then they would be rooting for a Wake Forest loss.  A loss would eliminate them.

8 PM
Washington State at Washington, FS1.  A Washington State loss would turn the Oregon/Oregon State game into a winner-take-all for the Pac-12 North.  If Washington State wins, they'll be rooting for Oregon State to beat Oregon so they can be the Pac-12 North champs.

Saturday, November 27
Noon
Ohio State at Michigan, FOX.  A winner-take-all matchup for the Big Ten East.

Wake Forest at Boston College, ESPN2.  If Wake Forest wins, they clinch the ACC Atlantic.  If they lose, it would go to NC State (if they won on Friday) or Clemson (if NC State lost).  Both teams are bowl eligible.

Texas Tech at Baylor, FS1.  Both teams are bowl eligible, but Baylor has an outside chance of going to the Big 12 championship game with a win and an Oklahoma loss.  If Baylor loses, then Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will be playing each other in back-to-back weeks.

Florida State at Florida, ESPN.  The winner is bowl eligible, the loser is not.

Maryland at Rutgers, BTN.  The winner is bowl eligible, the loser is not.

3:30 PM
Oregon State at Oregon, ESPN.  If Washington State loses on Friday, this game becomes a winner-take-all for the Pac-12 North.  Either way, Oregon clinches the division with a win.

Indiana at Purdue, FS1.  This game only matters if Iowa loses on Friday, and will help determine the Big Ten West champ if Minnesota beats Wisconsin.  FRIDAY UPDATE:  Due to Iowa's win, this game no longer matters.

3:45 PM
Virginia Tech at uva, ACCN.  VT needs a win for bowl eligibility.  uva is already eligible.

4 PM
Wisconsin at Minnesota, FOXBoth teams have a shot at the Big Ten West title.  Wisconsin clinches with a win.  Minnesota is looking for a win plus help from Iowa and Purdue (both losing).  FRIDAY UPDATE:  Minnesota is eliminated from contention.  Wisconsin clinches with a win, while a loss will send Iowa to the Big Ten title game.

7 PM
Texas A&M at LSU, ESPN.  LSU needs needs a win for bowl eligibility.  Texas A&M is already bowl eligible.

West Virginia at Kansas, FS1.  WVU needs a win for bowl eligibility.  Kansas is already bowl ineligible.

7:30 PM
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State, ABC.  Oklahoma State has already clinched a berth in the Big 12 title game.  If Baylor loses, then Oklahoma would have already clinched, and this will just determine which team is #1 going into the title match.  If Baylor wins, then Oklahoma will still need to win to get to the championship game.

Pitt at Syracuse, ACCN.  Syracuse needs needs a win for bowl eligibility.  Pitt is already bowl eligible.

10:30 PM
Cal at UCLA, FS1.  Cal needs to win this game plus a rescheduled game next weekend for bowl eligibility.  UCLA is already eligible.

BYU at USC, ESPN.  USC needs to win this game plus a rescheduled game next weekend for bowl eligibility.  BYU is already eligible.
